What is the search engine description?
If you where searching on Google for car insurance. You would type in car insurance in the Google search box and press the search button. This would bring up a list of websites related to car insurance and each website in that list would have a description. This is the Search Engine Description, simple.

Now instead of looking for the (title) you need to find (meta name="description" content="Your Text") example below from flourish.  Circled in red is the search engine description. Where it says content="Delete text and put your search engine website description here." Now save your souce code. Well done you have now completed your title and your description part of the HTML Tutorial. This is always harder first time round but the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Also we are only doing the very basics of HTML. |
